Wine, Stein and Dine for Education happening Saturday

| February 26, 2019 12:00 AM

The 23rd annual Wine, Stein and Dine for Education will be held Saturday, March 2 from 7-10 p.m. at the Post Falls Greyhound Park and Event Center.

Tickets are $45 and include all food and drink for the evening, plus a wine or beer glass provided by major benefactor sponsor Columbia Bank.

Enjoy tastings from more than 85 vendors providing wine, microbrews and hard ciders from local breweries and area wineries, along with an array of foods from a dozen local restaurants. Live musical entertainment will be provided by singer/guitarist Bill Bozly. Enjoy dancing, a wine tree raffle, a photo booth and silent auction.

This annual fundraiser of the Post Falls Education Foundation funds more than 100 innovative and creative classroom grants submitted by Post Falls School District educators of grades K-12 each year. The Foundation has awarded more than $600,000 in grants to teachers in the district over the last 22 years.

Because not all students learn in the same manner, these grants increase opportunities for learning. By having access to new books, materials, equipment or technology, teachers can reach their students through varying teaching methods.

This is a 21 and over event. Tickets are available online at www.pfefwsd.org or these locations:

Post Falls: Mountain West Bank, Columbia Bank, Super 1, Yoke’s, Post Falls Brewing, Selkirk Abbey Brewing, Post Falls Chamber of Commerce, Post Falls School District Office or Washington Trust Bank. Coeur d’Alene: Daft Badger Brewing. Information: 208-691-4675
