Sylvia Ellen Tickle, 80

Sylvia Ellen Tickle passed away Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019. She was 80 years old. Those that knew her loved her. She was such a caring and appreciative woman. She had the spirit of a warrior and the heart of an angel. She loved giving hugs and showing, even a stranger, that they mattered and were appreciated. She also had a limitless knowledge of plants and quite the green thumb.

Sylvia was born May 22, 1939, in Utah.

She moved to Spokane, Wash., and married James Wallace Tickle on Sept. 3, 1970.

They were together until Aug. 25, 1996. She never remarried or even dated after Wally’s passing.

Sylvia is survived by her children, Roy Victor Tickle, Tina Adams and Lathey Ellen Asberry; grandchildren Thomas James Asberry Jr., NaTesha LaRae Frandson and Sarah Anne Stark and great-grandchildren Kaydence Elaine, Nick, Zander and Gracie.

Extended family includes Truman and Cherie Chancey, Daniel Smith Chancy, Joe Seppi, Teresa, David, Chad, Jennifer, Alex, Taryn and Tyler Curless and Joe W. Service date and time is to be determined after the holidays at Timberlake Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She has touched even the hardest of hearts and made a profound and lasting imprint on those who knew her; she is forever missed.

Her soul feels like a warm blanket and smells like Thanksgiving day.
