Birdie's Pie Shop to open in Post Falls
With staple and baker specials and seasonal products, Birdie’s Pie Shop will open Tuesday at 1003 N. Spokane St. in Post Falls.
Sharee and Brad Moss use the pie specialties of her grandmother Birdella Cox to offer eat-in, take-home, personal and bite-size pies, meat pies, side salads and ice cream. Staple pies are apple, triple berry, key lime, pecan and chocolate cream. They cater for events and will have “paint and pie” in a side area of the building. Baker Michael Boshka manages the kitchen.

Holaday Co. offers soaps and candles
Natural and organic bath and body products and hand-poured candles are available at Holaday & Co. that opened Friday at 1109 E. Sherman Ave.
Owners Natalie and Chad Holaday also own and operate Ego Soap Co.
“Since our skin absorbs so much of what we put on it, we are constantly researching ingredients and products that are harmful vs. healthful,” Natalie said. “We bring clean and effective skincare lines. Our candles are fragrant and decorative.”
