- A public hearing on the proposed Wolf Lodge Bay zone change to allow a dock building company to operate on a sliver of shoreline along Highway 97 in Coeur d’Alene is being held this evening at 6 in the Administrative Services Building, located at 451 N Government Way. Commissioners will take public comment before they decide on approving or denying the requested zone change.

- Friday is Community Day at Schweitzer Mountain Resort and the price for full-day lift tickets will be $10, with all proceeds benefiting two area nonprofits, Community Cancer Services and Bonner Partners in Care Clinic. Community Day has been an annual holiday tradition at Schweitzer for the past 12 years. Tickets are available directly through both organizations, at the lift ticket window at Schweitzer, or online at www.schweitzer.com.

- English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d’Alene will host a remembrance service and candlelight ceremony to honor lost loved ones at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 18. Pastor Rodney Wright will officiate. Refreshments will be served. All in the community are welcome to attend.
