Five T-Wolves reach semis at season-opening tourney

PABLO, Mont. — Caden Hess (113 pounds), Seth Nutting (170), Matthew Whitcomb (182), Mahlon Clark (205) and Logan Parson (285) advanced to the semifinals of the Owen Invitational on the campus of Salish Kootenai College on Friday.

Lake City is fourth in the 20-team tournament.

The tournament concludes today.

Post Falls goes 2-1 in Sidney duals tournament

SIDNEY, Mont. — Roddy Romero (113 pounds), Braxton Mason (126), Lane Reardon (132), Isaac Jessen (138), A.J. De La Rosa (145), Trevor Miller (160), Isaiah Laguna (205) and Tyler Cook (285) had wins by pin in the Trojans opening dual against Dickinson of North Dakota in the Sidney duals tournament.

Post Falls also beat Billings High 42-27 before losing to tournament host Sidney 52-12 in its final dual of the day. Results from those duals were not available.

The bracketed tournament concludes today.
