- The fourth annual Post Fallidays Tiny Tree Festival takes place at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Enjoy brunch and a mimosa bar while viewing the 4-foot tiny trees that are decorated by community leaders, nonprofits and businesses to be auctioned for charity. - Wet weather and cool conditions in October caused major potato crop damage, and the world is bracing for a french fry shortage. Conditions have caused smaller spuds, which are not useful for making fries. Prices are likely to climb, including internationally, if the U.S. is unable to export as much. Idaho, the top producer, is forecasted a 5.5% fall in output.
