Her roots begin in New York City

It is past time for Alice Arambarri and her group to show their family tree. Alice is writing in the Cd’A Press as the “Group Leader Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America.” It is not her fault, but Group Leader makes me think of all the ranks in Nazi Germany that include some version of “SS Gruppenfuhrer.” Considering the goals of her group, her title might be more descriptive if it started off with Comrade Leader. She states that the organization is “anti-gun violence, not-anti-gun.

Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America filed IRS Form 990 for 2013. Although it is 23 pages long, it does contain some interesting information for those who take the time to read it. In Part I Summary it states, “A non-partisan grassroots organization that educates, motivates, and mobilizes moms and families to take action for stronger gun laws and policies that save lives.” Tracing the organization’s relationships immediately exposes the first lie about it being a grassroots organization.

On Dec. 30, 2013, the Secretary of State, Jeffrey W. Bullock for Delaware certified that “Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, Inc.” merged into and with “Mayors Against Illegal Guns Action Fund.”

It only takes minutes to discover that Mayors Against Illegal Guns Action Fund was a creation of former New York Mayor Bloomberg. He funded the group with at least $39 million and promised $50 million. It also doesn’t take long to discover that many of the mayors were under indictment, investigation or convicted of a multitude of different offenses ranging from child molestation to drug trafficking. Their disreputable conduct damaged much of their ability to lobby effectively. With a stroke of a pen we can add the Moms group and who can ever argue with mother? You cannot ever say the left-wing is not clever.

As for Bloomberg, he needs no introduction. He certainly has decided that his opinions backed up by his wealth are what we should be paying attention to. He is the man who decided what size soft-drinks could be sold in New York, among other things. Besides, bringing government into the life of an individual at a totally unacceptable level of intrusion, it was an idiotic law.

So, Alice Arambarri and her Moms are no more a ‘Grassroots” organization than Acorn. They are simply another of the interlocking, left-wing pop up nonprofit groups that come and go. They exist for the sole purpose to influence legislators and mobilize trusting citizens to support their supposed good causes.

I invite Alice to move to New York, along with her Grassroots group that is paid for and owned by Bloomberg and his ilk. Most of us either moved or were raised in Idaho. All we ask it that we are left just one state without having governmental nannies overseeing our every move.

By the way, last week, we had a big day at Center Target Sports with hundreds of citizens enjoying the swap meet, giving blood, donating food to the food bank, etc. Just like the fair, there was no gun violence. Why? There were so many open and concealed carry weapons that to have tried anything would have been the act of a loon. If there is violence I hope and pray that Alice and Bloomberg did not strip me of my God-given right and constitutional right to bear arms. I have not the slightest interest in committing suicide or facing insurmountable odds nor do I care to have to get on my knees and beg for mercy.
