HOMES: Keep the charm of Cd'A

I write to underscore the letter written by, I believe, Ms. Taylor about the old homes of Coeur d’Alene. It is a tragedy to loose that home at 627 N. Government Way. That home could easily be on the National Historic Register. When we lose the old homes, we lose the basic beauty of this town. Some contractor came in some years back and rebuilt two old homes north of Sherman, but did not restore them.

In my opinion, we need a Preservation Society and a strong leader for it to succeed. How about the lovely lady who led the fundraising for the new library? If she is interested.

Please keep the charm of this town.
