Kootenai Humane Society is a stand-alone, independent, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. We rely solely on the generosity of our supporters. We have been serving our community’s animal needs for 40 years and are looking forward to the next 40!

We are so very grateful for the generous support we have received from our community not only to care for the animals in our facility today, but also for supporting a new animal center that will continue our life-saving mission for years to come.
