COMMISH: Learns traffic lesson
The other day I was embarrassed when a caller pointed out that I “ran a red light” at Ramsey and Kathleen. I plead guilty. I thanked the caller for reminding me.
I had a bunch of groceries on the back seat. I looked down and looked up just as the amber light flashed. I honestly felt like I could safely continue through the intersection, but I have to admit, the caller was in a better position to judge than I was. I apologized and he said he accepted my apology. I will be more careful in the future.
Sometimes I forget my name, picture and phone number are all over my van. Come to think of it, we should all drive like our name, phone number and picture were on our vehicle. We would probably be more courteous and better drivers.
