- Gov. Brad Little appointed David Gabrielsen of Cataldo to the Idaho Forest Products Commission. Gabrielsen is the Idaho Regional Manager for Hancock Forest Management in Coeur d’Alene. He oversees operations on 125,000 acres in the six northern Idaho counties.
- Post Falls’ Up North Distillery has been invited to present at the National Honey Board’s Honey Spirit Summit at Moonshine University in Louisville. The event gathers 20 innovative craft distillers for a seminar on honey. Up North, open for four years, produces three spirits 100% made from honey — the only distillery in Idaho to do so.
