Complete renovation of the Red Lion Templin’s Hotel in Post Falls is being done by new owner KVA Management of Liberty Lake.

The 163 guest rooms have new carpet, paint, furniture and wall prints. Enlarged by offices moving to the third floor, the main entry and lobby now look at the Spokane River with new seating, a crystal chandelier, a double-sided, snake-style bench, five 75-inch TVs and a new bar-restaurant entrance.

The Current Kitchen (the restaurant) and meeting space will be redone this fall, and the curb has a basalt water feature, landscaping and a new parking lot. The outdoor upgrades will include the 165-slip marina and beach area.

“Living close, it’s the dream of the new owners to operate a full-service hotel and be personally involved from start to finish,” said Kelly Gwinn-Duby, director of sales.

A grand opening is planned for fall. Check www.redlion.com/templins. Phone 208-773-1611.
