- The 23rd annual Brewsfest starts at 1 p.m. today at Silver Mountain Resort in Kellogg. Featured: 22 breweries, four cideries and two bands. Tickets include a gondola ride, commemorative mug and six drink tickets. Information is at silvermt.com.
- Join the Cd’A Police Department for a movie in the park tonight at dusk. “The House with a Clock in Its Walls” will be showing at the bandshell in City Park. Free popcorn. The next (and last) movie in the park — “Dumbo” — will be Aug. 31.
- The North Idaho College Board of Trustees will hold its next workshop at 5 p.m. Wednesday in the Lake Room of the Student Union Building to discuss capital projects. The regular meeting will follow at 6 p.m. Both are open to the public.
- Learn about the history and future of space exploration and see a fascinating variety of space and NASA artifacts at the Space Frontiers Program at 6 p.m. on Aug. 20, with Joe Bruce, NASA Solar System Ambassador. This free presentation will be at the Hayden Library, 8385 N. Government Way.
