RAINFALL: Dealing with a deluge

I read with interest the rain amount numbers Tuesday on page A6. At my house in Hauser Heights, we had 3.9 inches in Saturday night’s gully washer thunderstorm and then another 0.4 inches on Sunday. And as for calling it a gully washer, it washed out much of the gravel roadside and driveways in our community.

Post Falls Highway District deserves accolades for coming out Monday to clean out blocked culverts.
