- The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile will make a guest appearance this Sunday at the Post Falls Yokes, 1501 E. Seltice Way. Check it out between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
•Coeur d’Alene Wastewater responded to an overflow of wastewater from the sewer system in front of The Coeur d’Alene Resort and MoMo Sushi on Sherman Avenue Thursday morning. Superintendent Mike Anderson said the overflow was caused by a clog in a private sewage line in the Johnston Building on the corner of Second Street and Sherman Avenue.
- Applebee’s said it decided on DoorDash for delivery service nationwide. DoorDash attracts customers who might not otherwise choose Applebee’s, according to management at the Hanley location, such as younger people who prefer delivery to dining in and older folks who are less mobile. Delivery is free through Sept. 1 on orders placed through applebees.com.
•Coeur d’Alene-based network company Fatbeam ranked No. 2,564 on the Inc. magazine’s ranking of the fastest-growing private companies. Many well known companies, including Microsoft and Domino’s Pizza gained their first national exposure on the Inc. 5000 list.
