Sondra K. Vickery, 73

Sondra ‘Sandy’ K. Vickery, of Coeur d’Alene, passed away unexpectedly on Friday morning, Aug. 2, 2019. Sandy was born in Atlantic, Iowa, on Feb. 1, 1946. She previously lived in Boulder, and Aspen, Colo. prior to moving to Coeur d’Alene. She has resided in Coeur d’Alene for the past 13 years.

Sandy is survived by her sister, Bev (David) Chambers; niece, Stacy (Sid) Smith; nephews, Kyle (Lili) Chambers, Kris (Lindsey) Chambers; three great-nieces; three great-nephews and her very beloved dog, Josie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Zeke, and her daughter, Kimberly.

Sandy most recently lived in Riverstone Silver Apartments, where she enjoyed many friends that she had made during her residence. She loved her family and had a huge heart for animals. Sandy will be greatly missed by her family, her friends and Josie.

A gathering with friends will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 16, 2019, at Riverstone Silver. A family gathering to honor Sandy will be held over Labor Day weekend. Donations may be made to the Kootenai County Humane Society, 11650 N. Ramsey Road, Hayden, ID 83835, in memory of Sandy.
