INCIDENT: Praise - and disgust

Sunday, July 28 I was trying to make a right-hand turn onto Ramsey Road off Kathleen and my small pickup died. There was a ton of traffic at each intersection, but one wonderful young man jumped out of his rig, crossed traffic and began to push my truck UPHILL to the driveway of the Lutheran Church. Bless him! Praise and many thank you’s to him and the young lady who remained with his vehicle. Such nice young people.

Not to bring skin color into the story, but he had beautiful black hair and brown skin, and was so very polite and courteous. Now, for the disgust. It was about 1 p.m. when this incident occurred, and as before stated, there was a ton of traffic and NO ONE offered any assistance to the young man. NO ONE! What is happening to our community? I can remember when many would help. Let’s get back to helping our neighbors.
