signs with Breidalbik

Former Eastern Washington University standout Violet Kapri Morrow has signed a contract to continue her playing days overseas professionally with the Breidablik Basketball Club in Reykjavik, Iceland, the school announced on Thursday.

Morrow, an All-Big Sky Second Team selection as a senior following a third team nod as a junior, ended her storied career at Eastern Washington seventh on the program’s all-time scoring list with 1,357 career points. The Tacoma, Wash., native also finished her career with 545 rebounds and 145 career assists, becoming just the eighth player in school history to garner over 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 100 assists in a career. She became the 18th member of Eastern’s 1,000-point club on Jan. 10.
