Caroline Marie Grondin Weaver, 83

Caroline Marie Grondin Weaver, 83, resident of High Point, N.C., died Aug. 3, 2019, at High Point Medical Center.

Mrs. Weaver was born Jan. 4, 1936, in Seattle. She was born to the late Leon and Florence Annie Peterson Grondin. After moving to Idaho, she worked and later retired from Sargent Industries, as a customer service manager. She also was a member of the U.S.M.C. Auxiliary League in Idaho and was especially active in its “Toys for Tots” program.

In 2010, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Madison Weaver, and in 2011, she moved to High Point.

Surviving is her son, Ronald “Ron” Pitts and wife Tina Cecil, of High Point, and two granddaughters, Cecilia Marie Pitts and Julianne Faith Pitts. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, two sisters and four brothers.

An interment will be held at a later date alongside her husband at Arlington National Cemetery. Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point, N.C., is assisting the family.
