Coeur d'Alene semifinal to be shown nationally
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — As the games get a little more important for the Coeur d’Alene U12 Little League baseball team in the Northwest Regional tournament, the audience will grow as well.
Coeur d’Alene, which opened with a 5-2 win over Bothell, Wash., on Monday to open the tournament, will face Salem, Ore., in the first regional semifinal of the tournament on Thursday at noon from Al Houghton Stadium.
Thursday’s game will be shown live on ESPN.
Coeur d’Alene won the Northwest Regional title in 2018, advancing to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa.
Thursday’s winner advances to Saturday’s championship game, also at noon on ESPN. Thursday’s loser will play in the second semifinal game on Friday against a team to be determined, also at noon on ESPN.
