COUNTY: Not keeping fiscal promise

Saw Kootenai County wants a 3% increase this year, but just a couple of months ago we saw in the Coeur d’Alene Press that assessments in the county increased 11% overall. I would guess that over the next few weeks we will hear every taxing body say the same thing — they need the full 3% increase and blame the same reason, too much growth.

What became of the people we elected who said they would be fiscally responsible with our money?
