- Join the Spirit Lake Library, 32575 N. Fifth Ave., Spirit Lake, for an afternoon of rock painting at 2 p.m. today. Paintbrushes, enamel paints and rocks aplenty. Painters are welcome to supply their own gravel canvas.

- Steve Roth of Architects West will give a formal presentation to the Coeur d’Alene City Council Tuesday that will detail a proposal to move the historic J.C. White House on Sherman Avenue to its potential new home near the base of Tubbs Hill. If approved, private funding is slated to move the 115-year-old home to its new foundation, saving it from demolition.

- Brian Newberry, CEO of Girls Scouts of Eastern Washington and North Idaho, will present the Girl Scout Gold Award to Crista Falk during Tuesday’s Coeur d’Alene City Council meeting.

•The Coeur d’Alene City Council will vote whether or not to approve an agreement with Sonray Enterprises to construct a new water transmission main on Hedberg and Boyd avenues. The Elm Street booster station serves over 600 customers from Stanley Hill to Fernan Hill, but connections in the zone have exceeded the established booster station capacity, according to Water Department assistant superintendent Kyle Marine.
