Bids (hand-delivered or mailed) shall be delivered to the Worley Highway District -Attn: District Clerk, 12799 Ness Road, Worley, Idaho 83876. Bids shall be clearly marked "Bid Enclosed -Watson Road Landslide Project". Bids will then be opened publicly and read aloud at Worley Highway District. Project Summary: This project involves landslide remediation for a 335' segment of Watson Road. Shallow groundwater in combination with poor soil quality has resulted in a landslide in March 2017. Remediation consists of reconstructing the roadway prism down to bedrock (25'-30' depth), groundwater and surface water drainage infrastructure installation, and reconstruction of the gravel roadway. Local site dewatering will be required during construction due to the shallow groundwater table. The roadway can be closed during construction with proper detours in place. The contract times will commence to run upon notice to proceed given no earlier than July 10, 2019.
