SOCIALISM: In plain view

| April 19, 2019 1:00 AM

Democrat presidential hopefuls are jumping into the fray by the droves, all with words of scorn for Trump and words of wisdom for what they’ll do for America. So far, they all have one thing in common: All are socialists, trying their darnedest to out LEFT and out promise the others.

Democrats had eight years to do their thing. What happened? Democrats (Obama) spent a great deal of time slamming the excellence of America and doing their best to build a permanent underclass, dependent on social programs and government entitlements. Whoa, Whoa There!

Trump says America will never become a socialist nation. I say socialism never has worked and never will. A profound and relevant little paragraph says it all, attributed to Gerald LK Smith, later quoted by Adrian Rogers:

“You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half get the idea that it does no good to work because someone else is going to get what they work for — that my dear friends is about the end of any nation.”

Amen! Listen up America. This is already happening AND WE KNOW IT!
