Five-way crash blocks U.S. 95, injures one
COEUR d’ALENE — A Post Falls woman was injured in a five-vehicle crash that blocked southbound traffic on U.S. 95 at Dalton Avenue for 1½ hours on Friday afternoon.
Idaho State Police reported that Jared Storlie, 30, of Athol was driving a 2005 Ford F150 south on U.S. 95 at 4:20 p.m. when he collided with four vehicles stopped at the Dalton Avenue red light.
The driver of a 1997 BMW Z3, Larraine Jordan, 74, of Post Falls, was transported to Kootenai Health with undisclosed injuries, police reported.
Drivers of the other three vehicles involved in the crash — Juliette Mixon of Post Falls, David Roes of Post Falls, and Stanley Guan of Coeur d’Alene — were not injured, police said. All drivers were wearing seat belts.
No citations have been issued in the crash, which remains under investigation.
