COEUR d’ALENE — A successful crowd-funded indie film starring a 95-year-old American Indian elder will be screened at Lake City Playhouse tonight at 7 p.m.
Based on the award-winning novel by best-selling author Kent Nerburn, "Neither Wolf Nor Dog" features a stellar performance by the late Lakota elder Dave Bald Eagle, who died the July before the film was released.
The film takes audiences to the heart of the American Indian experience. A white author gets sucked into the heart of contemporary Native life in the sparse lands of the Dakotas by Bald Eagle and his sidekick.
Tickets are $9 for children and $12 for adults. LCP is located at 1320 E. Garden Ave., Coeur d'Alene.
