I recently had the scare of my life. I was having two small strokes and my vision diminished. I ended up at the hospital in the emergency room. Here I received the most conscientious, and state of the art medical procedures one could ever imagine.

After a long day of emergency testing, I was admitted to the hospital, and prepared for surgery on my left coroted artery.

During my intervention time at the hospital, I was treated with so much care, respect and kindness. The professionalism to me from all of the staff was simply overwhelming. This excellent care stemmed all the way from the surgeon, nurses and caregivers, all the way down to the kitchen at the hospital, where my diet was overseen by a nutritionist.

Every single component of my hospital experience was incredible and reminded me of how the cog and the wheel go hand in hand.

I would highly recommend Kootenai Health to anyone having medical issues.

I would like to thank my surgeon, Christopher A. Ward, for his amazing team of experts, including an old friend Lisa. It is hard to believe that even preparing for anesthesia, the scary moment was intermingled with lightheartedness and joy.

My greatest respect and admiration goes out to Kootenai Health and it is an experience I wish I never had, but, having had to go through it, I was in the best hands ever. Kootenai Health rocked for me!
