FELONS: Of bonds and bondage

When will we learn? I saw something on TV this week that reminded me of an old saying, “You’ve got to be kidding me.” It was brought to mind after a habitual felon was arrested after 24 prior convictions and then was offered a bond.

A question is, why does our legal system allow felons like that to have a bond, providing those individuals an opportunity to be released to continue their evil ways? We need to keep those people off our streets and need our legal system to keep them behind bars.
