3Cs Spring Craft Boutique and Bake Sale on Saturday
Spring has finally sprung, so it’s time once more for the ladies of 3Cs (Cancer and Community Charities) to invite those looking for unique and local-made wares to their annual Spring Craft Boutique and Bake Sale.
From 10-3 this Saturday, the Coeur d’Alene Boys and Girls Club, 925 E. 15th Ave., will host a day of fun and shopping. Admission is $2.
Over 40 vendors have been carefully selected by Suzi Wong, the event chair. With goodies including spring and Easter gifts and decor, jewelry, stained glass, bath products and soaps, tole painted wares, garden and yard art, makeup and skincare items, and smoked snacks and gourmet foods, there is something for everyone. DJ’s Barbecue will be there selling food, so no need to worry about running out of fuel as you shop.
New this year will be a book booth, where several local authors will be on hand for a meet and greet and to sign copies of their books.
Along with admission costs, booth fees and the bake sale, items from each vendor will be raffled to raise as much money as possible to support the 3Cs’ mission of granting funds to nonprofits and charities within Kootenai County every year. 3Cs hosts several popular events throughout the year, and the fairly new endeavor of hosting craft fairs has provided a fun new way for the ladies to continue their efforts. The next craft fair will take place on Oct. 26.
