Workshop: Building a Sustainable Nonprofit

SCORE Spokane will host “Bulding a Sustainable Nonprofit” Thursday from 10:30 to noon in the SCORE/SBA Training Room, 801 W. Riverside, Suite 444, Spokane.

Cost is $25 with preregistration, $40 at the door and $15 for an additional person.

This workshop is for people thinking about, or in the early phases of, starting a nonprofit organization and focuses on those areas that will help you build your nonprofit on a strong foundation for long-term sustainability. Topics include; the steps involved in incorporating, obtaining tax-exempt status from the IRS, building a sustainable business model, fundraising strategies, forming a board of directors and how to utilize the board effectively.
