IDEA: Annex the outliers

Here’s a suggestion that might appease the people of Athol and the Redoubt movement in Kootenai County: Let Bonner County annex them. That way, the anti-regulation, Libertarian-leaning crowd can stick together. Let Bonner County staff that area’s sheriff’s office and take care of fire and all other services. The only catch is this: They need to annex Brent Regan, too.
