LETTERS: Of dogs and Dems

| April 5, 2019 1:00 AM

As the snow was melting and I was seeing more and more dog waste in the Shadduck Lane Park where I walk every day with my dog, I started to write a letter to Readers Write. Thankfully, Kay Lynn Sands did a great job of conveying my thoughts, plus many more facts I had not thought of.

I hope that all of those people who inconsiderately leave their dog waste behind will learn that their mother doesn’t work in the parks and will pick up after themselves.

Also in Sunday’s column were three great letters to the editor by Jerry G. Weaver, Betty Novak and George Silva. It is time we elect officials who actually represent us and not just push their own beliefs. We (the taxpayers) pay their wages and their exorbitant retirements. It is time they actually worked for us.
