Christina Jean Lane, 83

Christina Jean Lane, 83, a loving wife, mom, sister, auntie, grandma, great-grandma and friend, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Endicott, Wash. on Dec. 6, 1934, to Emma Jean and William Lang. She grew up and went to school in Pullman, Wash., and attended WSU. She married Robert Lane Sept. 22, 1956, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, where they raised their family.

Tina is survived by her husband Bob of 62 years; their children, Deb (Jeff) Thomas, Bob (Nancy) Lane, Teresa (Mike) Budvarson and Bill Lane; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Tina worked for KMC for 20 years as a desk clerk and an inhalation therapist. After retirement she worked in various occupations that helped and uplifted those around her. She loved her horses, playing the organ and painting. We all loved her baking and she could sew anything. She enjoyed gardening and camping at Priest Lake.

Mom’s best gift was her ability to listen. She always knew who needed help and could give the best advice. The grandchildren always said they would get the perfect stuffed animals and the funniest cards that would cheer them up.

Her best advice to everyone was: “there is always a way.” Tina was an advocate for all. We will miss her so much. Till we meet again. Love you forever.

At Tina’s request no services will be held. A celebration of life at a family gathering will be held at a later date.

Thank you for the loving care given to Tina during the difficult time at Schneidmiller Hospice House.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice or The Humane Society.

Yates Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of final arrangements.
