Celebrating Recovery event is Friday in Post Falls

It’s National Recovery Month, and Abundance Wellness Center in Post Falls will host a celebration from 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 21. All are welcome to attend the event at the center to hear presentations and see demonstrations on several topics like the benefits of CBD oil and the practice of yoga.

Abundance will also play host to a variety of vendors, including holistic health practitioners and community health outreach programs.

Testimonials will be given by people who have successfully recovered from addictions or are in the process of doing so.

The event will also include pet adoptions, veteran services, free food and a lemonade stand.

Community partners have provided several items for raffles that will take place during the event. Prizes include crystal jewelry, Peak Fitness memberships and gift baskets.
