Bras on Dudes to host 8th annual fundraiser

Bras on Dudes, a local cancer charity event, will host its eighth annual live auction and fashion show featuring decorated bras modeled by local dudes this September. The event will support local cancer patients through The Windermere Foundation.

This year’s Bras on Dudes event will take place at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 28, at the Coeur d’Alene Eagles, 209 E. Sherman Ave. Seats are $40 in advance or $45 at the door, and include dinner and one drink ticket. Must be 21 to attend. Bras on Dudes has been a proud supporter of local cancer charities since its inception in 2011. This year’s recipient, The Windermere Foundation, is a non-profit organization established in 1989 and ‘has raised over $33 million for programs and organizations that provide shelter, food, children’s programs, emergency assistance and other services to those who need our help the most.’

“The Bras on Dudes event was created to help raise much needed donations for local cancer patients. As volunteers, we are dedicated to making this event fun and successful,” say Johna Nelson and Holly Hansen, event coordinators.
