PAY: Pondering gender

The other day I was listening to a group of ladies discussing the unfair practice of a business paying women less than men for the same work. During my working years, I have never worked for such a corporation but I can sympathize with their frustration.

The only question I have is why would a business hire men to do the same job as women for more pay?
