HAYDEN: No to levy
It appears that the city of Hayden is asking for money in a special levy election. I don’t know if you have noticed it but often cities spend their money less than wisely on less than essential projects, and when they run out of money, they then ask for what everyone needs: fire protection, police protection, road maintenance, etc.
I think that if cities budgeted just like you and I budgeted, then they would list all projected expenditures and eliminate from the budget all those which are not essential.
Those of us on social security cannot ask the administration for more money and neither should the city of Hayden ask more from us. Learn to spend less, just like the rest of us. Please don’t vote for more money for the city of Hayden.
