Woops! bakeshop opens downtown
Woops! This bakeshop owned by Idaho native Shelly Boyd is opening in the Wiggett Building (long ago Montgomery Ward) at 119 N. Fourth St.
It offers a wide selection of European-style pastries and coffees. The most popular is the French macaron in an array of flavors with other pastries and sandwiches.

Coeur d’Alene based Tree Medic Tree Services, owned by Ryan Wichman, has recently acquired Specialty Tree Services, Inc. and its subsidiary business, Tree Removal Services, from longtime arborist and owner, Ken Roberge.
The companies provide comprehensive tree and landscape services to residential and commercial clients throughout North Idaho from Industrial Park off Atlas Road.
The services include working with hazardous trees, stump grinding, tree trimming, forestry cleanup, fire-fuel reduction, tree and shrub care, diesease and pest prevention and control, pruning, tree planting and maintenance.

- It’s weird — and maybe unsafe now that schools are active — that both busy Best and Kathleen Avenues have blocks without sidewalks, especially since these major streets provide major access to schools. Why aren’t sidewalks there?
