CANS: The cleaner, the better

| October 3, 2018 1:00 AM

So Mr. Damiano doesn’t want Eco-Wash to touch his dirty trash cans with their equipment. The people at Eco-Wash saw a need in this community and are trying to fill it.

Does Mr. Damiano collect the dirty tubs and clean them? What are those of us who cannot or don’t want to clean the tubs ourselves suppose to do? Can we call and have the dirty ones replaced with clean ones?

I don’t know if Eco-Wash’s equipment damages the tubs or not, but if it does, then Mr. Damiano has a legitimate complaint, but the article did not say that. In fact, no reason was given other than Mr. Damiano did not want Eco-Wash to handle his property.

I try to keep my tubs from getting dirty, but with people driving down the street and dumping their trash in tubs on trash night, I do not always have control of what goes in my tubs. And if I did clean my tub, what do I do with what I cleaned out of it? Leave it on the driveway until it dries and put it back in the tub I just cleaned? Or let the liquid run down the drive and into the city sewer system?

Does Mr. Damiano have a solution for dirty tubs?
