Samuel Kirk Adams

Samuel Kirk Adams was born March 14, 1957, and passed away in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on Nov. 23, 2018, at the age of 61. Sam was preceded in death by his father, Robert K. Adams Jr. and his mother, Betty June Cross. Sam is survived by his son, Dylan Adams; his longtime girlfriend, Tammy Winkowitsch and her daughter, Renee Winkowitsch. Sam is also survived by his stepmother, Mary E. Adams and five brothers, John R. Adams, Gordon (Kathie) Adams, Tommy (Becky) Adams, Mark (Gina) Adams, David (Ruth) Fincher and sister, Mary (Jean Paul) Cook.

Sam worked as a long-haul truck driver for many years, which he loved. He drove until he became too sick to do it any longer. Sam was a very fun-loving man who would do anything for anyone. He was the eternal optimist, even when it came to his own health.

There will be a memorial service at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018, at JD’s Resort in Bayview, Idaho, where Sam and Tammy resided.
