Bonnie Easley, 80

Sept. 23, 1938 — Nov. 17, 2018

Benita “Bonnie” Easley, 80, passed away Nov. 17, 2018, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Bonnie was born Sept. 23, 1938, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Robert and Grace Anderson.

She attended California State University, Los Angeles, attaining both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in education. She spent her career teaching in the Los Angeles Junior College system. She retired and moved to Hayden Lake, Idaho, in 2009.

Bonnie was engaged in a number of different charity and community organizations, volunteering much of her time to those in need. She was a very active member in the First Presbyterian Church in Coeur d’Alene.

Bonnie loved the outdoors and had a lifelong passion for horses. She was a 25-year member of the Long Beach Mounted Police and participated in 15 Tournament of Roses Parades in Pasadena, Calif.

Bonnie is survived by her life partner, Al George; her two sons, Scott and Lance Easley; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her beloved horse, Lucky, and her loyal dog, Buddy.

Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at the First Presbyterian Church, 521 Lakeside Ave., Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814.
