Alfred Blatter, 88

Alfred John Blatter, 88, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, passed away peacefully on Nov. 21, 2018.

Alfred served our nation in the United States Army and was stationed in Berlin, Germany in the early 1950s. He had a lifelong love of nature and the outdoors.

Alfred is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Christa and his three children, Rene (Ann), Rosemarie and Karin. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, Aubrey, Morgen (Jason), Beau, Jacob and Abby and his four great-grandchildren, Hailey, Delanie, Raiyah and Gabriel.

His family would like to express their sincere gratitude and ‘thank-yous’ to the staff of Valley Vista in St. Maries, Idaho, for their loving and compassionate care of our husband and father in the last days of his life.

Memorial services will be in April 2019.

Yates Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of final arrangements.
