ROADWORK: Patient expectation

How wonderful it will be to have such grand improvements on Government Way! As a city we should be so thankful for prudent collaboration between our municipalities. Bravo to those who planned and are building our new roadway; complete with sidewalks, streetlights, stormwater drains, critical improvements for water, sewer and electrical lines and smooth new pavement.

To the best of their ability, they have maintained access to the businesses on that roadway, as well as keeping it open as a thoroughfare. It deserves commendation that this colossal project is also fiscally responsible, avoiding unnecessary overtime and weekend wages.

With patient anticipation, we await the much-needed improvements to our community’s infrastructure.
