Bonnie Lee Haleen

June 6, 1948 - November 2, 2018

Bonnie Lee (Jenson) Haleen, age 70, of Springfield, Mo., passed away on Friday, Nov. 2, 2018. She was a longtime resident of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Many will remember her for her work in the community. She was known for her involvement with the theater at Lake City Playhouse, her fundraising efforts for the Kootenai Humane Society, and as a long-time member of the Coeur d’Aleers.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband, Russell Haleen; her mother, Darlene (Watterson) Carlson; her father, Rodell Jenson; and her brothers, Rod “Buddy” Jenson and Paul Jenson.

She is survived by her loving sisters, Linda (Jenson) McGann of Springfield, Mo., Anita (Jenson) Brown of Alsip, Ill., Amelia (Jenson) Hannaman of Leitchfield, Ky., Julie (Jenson) Hart of Malibu, Calif., Johanna (Jenson) Wihlm of Onalaska, Wis., and Jennifer Jenson of Singapore; step-mother, Lois (Vomhof) Jenson of Onalaska; as well as numerous loving nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; brothers-in-law and extended family.

Friends, colleagues and former cast members are invited to a celebration of Bonnie’s life in the Coeur d’Alene area, from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, at the home of Rebecca Priano Vellucci. Please send an email to LRSL24@aol.com for information.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Springfield, Mo., with Pastor Jeff Sippy officiating.
