Several local preps honored on all-state soccer teams
Idaho all-state high school soccer teams were announced recently by the Idaho High School Soccer Coaches Association.
Bridget Rieken, Chloe Teets and Maddy Lasher of Lake City, and Erika Skindlov of Coeur d’Alene, were named to the 5A girls all-state team. Eryn Ducote of Lake City earned honorable mention.
Hattie Larson, Jezza Hutto, Yeo Yarnell and Riley Walkington of Sandpoint were named to the 4A girls team, and Sandpoint’s Mya Darling earned honorable mention.
Elizabeth Lehosit of Coeur d’Alene Charter Academy was named 3A girls co-player of the year. Stacy Smith of Charter was named 3A girls coach of the year.
All-state selections included Emma Bartlett of Coeur d’Alene Charter; Karissa Willis and Georgina Simpson of Timberlake; Alena Davenport of St. Maries; Keona Brown of Priest River and Shea Curran of Kellogg. Hanna Breazer of Bonners Ferry earned honorable mention.
Spencer Messina of Lake City and Docker Bond of Coeur d’Alene were named to the 5A boys all-state team. Chase Norris of Lake City earned honorable mention.
