Water Solutions has expanded and moved to 14655 Kimo Court in Rathdrum. Service technician Aaron Ward stands with several of the company’s drinking water systems.

An indoor, hands-on petting zoo experience is offered at Big Red’s Barn, opening Saturday at 7397 Government Way (the former Tim’s Special-Cut Meats location. That business is now in Post Falls).

Hang out with farm animals, exotics, miniatures, reptiles and birds. Pony, camel and unicorn rides will be offered later, and two party-barn rooms are available for birthdays, reunions and meetings. Group rates and after-hours gatherings are offered. The focus is fun and education.

Regular hours are 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. Owner is Jeannene Christ. Phone 208-719-9047. Check www.bigredsbarn.com.

Water Solutions moves in Rathdrum

Expanding from 1,000 to 4,000 square feet, Water Solutions has moved to 14655 Kimo Court in Rathdrum.

The 17-year-old company offers quality drinking water through a point-of-use cooler that filters on-site water. The new place includes a lobby, offices and shop.

“You enjoy high quality water without having to lift and store those heavy five-gallon bottles,” said Russ Ward, service and sales manager. “We install the cooler and make it look great.”

Bryan Ward is the owner, and Aaron Ward the lead service technician.

Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Phone 208-687-3938. Check www.bestwaternw.com.
