Lake City overcomes scoring drought, Boise
BOISE — It’s not often a basketball team goes from 0 to 24 points between two quarters. But it worked Friday night for Lake City as the visiting Timberwolves topped Boise 57-51.
“We actually played OK in the second quarter, we just struggled to make any shots,” Lake City coach James Anderson said. “Chloe Teets got us going in the third quarter; she scored 12 of her 16 points and just picked up her game. She was determined not to lose.”
Allison Ross led the Braves with 16 points.
Teets had five steals and four assists, and Brooklyn Rewers grabbed eight rebounds for Lake City (2-0), which plays at Mountain View of Meridian today.
