After graduating high school, Bill joined the U.S. Air Force and had an active military career from 1985 to 1992.

Upon getting out of the military, Bill returned to Post Falls to enjoy many hobbies, such as hunting and camping and spending time with friends and family. Cooking was a passion of his and he was to never be surpassed in the kitchen. He was creative when it came to taste and this shined through in his wines, sausages and jerky. Among his favorite things though, were his children and grandchildren. He would shine with pride when talking about any one of them.

Lillis; father-in-law, Robert William (“Billy Bob”) Boothman; grandson, Gregory; many aunts; uncles and extended family members.

Porter (Waller); niece, Amanda M. (Porter) and her husband, Jonathan Allen; honorary aunt, Barbara A. Lillis (Waring); as well as his mother-in-law, Minnie Leona Boothman and three stepchildren and their spouses, Ashley and Gary Bush (daughter, Ariel), Jacoba Bloom (son, Aden and daughter, Alysa) and Michael Hutchison (son, Mikey and daughter, Nevaeh).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to the family to assist in the cost of Bill’s final expenses.
