Sullivan, a 285-pound sophomore from Ewa Beach, Hawaii, went 4-1 over the weekend at the Grand View Open last Saturday in Pleasant View, Iowa, finishing second in the tournament. Sullivan also won by pin in a dual against Iowa Western to help give the Cardinals the win. “He was just on the offensive all day long,” NIC coach Pat Whitcomb said. “Connor got a huge win against an Iowa Central kid (Gunner Cash in Saturday’s tournament) that’s really going to help with seeding at nationals.”
