Kariotis, a senior, capped his high school career with a win in the 100-yard butterfly in the state 5A swim meet on Saturday at the West YMCA in Boise. “It was a relieving feeling,” said Kariotis, who finished second in the race as a junior. “Going through everything from last year, and all the time I’ve put in training this year, it’s an awesome feeling.” Kariotis was also second in the 200 medley relay, 100 backstroke and 400 freestyle.
